The Toolroom, located in 150 Walker Hall, consists of one staff person and four student assistants who provide various functions and resources to the Design Department. Providing supplies and equipment to Design Program students, staff and faculty is high on the list. Toolroom staff can also assist in the proper use of the materials available. Supplies listed here are available for checkout to current Design students, staff and faculty. Return deadline is 10:00 A.M. the next class day, so items will be available to all users each day.The Tool Room controls issue and return of keys to design studios and buildings, for overnight access. Lockers in Walker Hall are available for quarterly reservation by enrolled Design students. Copiers, photo, drafting, sewing studio, dye lab and weaving studio equipment are maintained by Tool Room staff or scheduled for repair. |
